"Follia" is an idea that originated 3 years ago in Naples by Mirko Maurello. Similar to limoncello, it is crafted using lemon, sugar, and lactose free milk. Over time, the concept evolved into something more profound.
The inspiration for this transformation arose from Mirko’s experience of working in a fine dining restaurant side by side with Michelin-starred chefs. Being passionately involved in this environment, he began to contemplate how he could elevate his limoncello-inspired creation.
The turning point occurred when he decided to deconstruct the ingredients of his limoncello. By considering ingredient substitutions, he envisioned a refined outcome.
In conclusion, “Follia” is not only a beverage, but an embodiment of Mirko’s culinary passion, cultivated through experiences, experimentations and a deep appreciation for the harmonious world of flavors.
