Cachaça Blu

Proudly made in Brazil

Proudly made in Brazil, Blu was established in 2024 as a world-class cachaça that meets the spirits industry’s highest global quality standards.

Exclusively produced with fresh-pressed juice of sugarcane - called garapa – which is fermented and distilled up to an alcoholic percentage of 39% by volume, cachaça Blu stands out as one of the most powerful and beloved Brazilian trademarks.

In Brazil’s southeast region of Minas Gerais, Blu was born at a family-owned property blessed by a perfect environment whose combination between a hot and humid climate with well-defined wet and dry seasons allows its sugarcane fields to blossom.

Cachaça Blu’s cultivation process takes place before the rainy period (November to March) whereas during the mild wintertime (June to August) temperatures drop so the cane starts its maturation process.

When harvest time begins, the cane is cut by hand and within a maximum of 24 hours, a slow milling process takes place; the juice is then filtered to eliminate any impurities and taken to spontaneous fermentation where wild yeasts perform the magic without interferences of any kind.

Every single step within the production of Blu is handcrafted;
from the sugarcane harvest to bottling, all is done manually

Because its primary element is delicately susceptible to its terroir, cachaça can effortlessly develop distinctive sensorial aromas and characteristics after reaching the perfect balance between alcohol and sugarcane. Moreover, the variety of Brazilian woods - sourced sustainably and ethically - can also grant cachaça the possibility to age beautifully which, in turn, reveals an extraordinary mosaic of senses.

Sustainable agriculture is extremely vital to Blu: being considerate and grateful to nature with the long-term in mind are principles which will always uphold every step Blu takes. All practices of manufacturing the cachaça are based upon a zero-waste philosophy which means all residual components are re-used as compost just as solar panels guarantee the farm with clean energy.

Enticing and intriguing, Blu’s recipes are packaged in sophisticated and eye-catching bottles which intertwine with a unique and captivating storytelling to give life to the most luscious cachaça ever seen in the international market.
